DAY 2- Tsuruga – Sushi Stop
A 20-minute drive from where we were staying, Tsuruga is a large port city on the Japan Sea coast which is easily reachable from Kanazawa Station and has a variety of attractions which includes shrines, museum, and beach spots.
We arrived at Hamazushi during lunch time, and the place was packed. We waited in the queue for about 10 minutes (not that long). It’s known for its budget friendly sushi plates..
Where: 4-5-2 Kizaki, Tsuruga, Fukui Prefecture
Cost: Ranging $1.00 – $2.00/plate (100-300 YEN)
*Price might change or may vary by locations
Note: For three(3) of us, our total bill was around $27.00 (3,000 YEN). It was really great, and cheap.
A must try Sushi Restaurant in Tsuruga.
